Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BoundaryBot, operated by Maria Jozami, sole proprietor doing business as BoundaryBot ("we," "us," or "our"), accessible at myboundarybot.com. By registering for or using BoundaryBot, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Description of Service
BoundaryBot provides users with a dedicated U.S. phone number for the purpose of managing incoming SMS communications. The service includes:
- A dedicated SMS-enabled phone number assigned to your account
- AI-assisted response management for incoming messages
- Timestamped logging and secure storage of all communications
- The ability to export communication records for personal or legal use
BoundaryBot is a communication management tool. It is not a legal service, mental health service, or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, please contact emergency services (911).
3. SMS Consent and Messaging
By providing your phone number and registering for BoundaryBot, you expressly consent to receive text messages from BoundaryBot related to your account and service operation.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
Opt-in: To resume SMS communications after opting out, reply START.
Help: Reply HELP at any time or contact support@myboundarybot.com.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on service activity. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or service access.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use BoundaryBot. By registering, you represent that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use BoundaryBot to:
- Send unsolicited, harassing, threatening, or abusive messages to any party
- Impersonate any person or entity in a manner intended to deceive or defraud
- Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or operation of the service
- Use the service in connection with any unlawful scheme or activity
6. AI-Assisted Responses
BoundaryBot uses artificial intelligence to assist in generating responses to incoming messages. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated responses are automated and may not always be accurate or appropriate for your situation
- You are solely responsible for evaluating the appropriateness of any AI-generated response
- Nothing generated by BoundaryBot constitutes legal advice
- BoundaryBot makes no warranty that AI-generated responses will achieve any particular outcome
We recommend consulting a qualified attorney for any matter that may have legal implications.
7. Communication Records
BoundaryBot logs and stores timestamped records of communications through your assigned number. These records are accessible to you and may be exported at your request. We make no warranty that exported records will be deemed admissible in any legal proceeding.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
BOUNDARYBOT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOUNDARYBOT AND MARIA JOZAMI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BoundaryBot and Maria Jozami from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.
11. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms at myboundarybot.com and updating the effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@myboundarybot.com.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
